Kazakhstan to create ”Crypto City” where cryptocurrencies can be used for payments

Kazakhstan will introduce a cryptocurrency payment system on a trial basis in some regions. On the 29th (local time), Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomat Tokayev said,
"We will create a 'Crypto City' test area where cryptocurrencies can be used for payments," he said. Crypto City plans to apply various cryptocurrency-related regulatory sandboxes in addition to cryptocurrency payments.
President Tokayev said, "Cryptocurrencies can be used for payments in restaurants and cafes, as well as for purchasing and investing in real estate," and added, "We are currently conducting internal discussions to find suitable locations."
