Arrives to work after fatal hit-and-run accident... arrested 8 hours later = Korea

A man in his 40s who killed someone in a hit-and-run was arrested by the police. According to the Ulsan North Police Station on the 2nd, Mr. A, a company employee in his 40s, was arrested at around 7:07 a.m. on the same day in the northern part of Ulsan.
While driving on a road in Shinmyeong-dong, Mr. A rear-ended an electric cart in front of him. He is suspected of fleeing the scene of the accident immediately after the rear-end collision.
The driver of the electric cart, a man in his 60s, Mr. B, was killed and his wife was seriously injured. Ulsan Bukbu Police Station made an emergency arrest of Mr. A on suspicion of flight resulting in death under the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Certain Crimes.
Mr. A, who had fled the scene, was arrested at his workplace 8 hours and 30 minutes after the accident. The police analyzed security cameras near the accident scene and found the license plate number of the vehicle Mr. A was driving.
The police are currently investigating Mr. A and are considering requesting an arrest warrant.
