ASTRO's Jinjin exempted from military service...regular testing required for autoimmune disease
Jinjin (29), a member of the Korean boy band ASTRO, has been exempted from military service. Management office Fantagio announced on the 2nd through the official ASTRO fan site.
"As a result of a detailed physical examination by the Military Manpower Administration due to Jinjin's autoimmune disease, it was determined that he would have difficulty serving in the military," the agency said.
He continued, "It doesn't interfere with my daily life, but I need to go to the hospital regularly for checkups and management.
"Jinjin's health is our number one priority, and we plan to continue his activities," the agency said.

JINJIN, born in 1996, is the leader and main rapper of ASTRO.
Recently, he has expanded his horizons as a musical actor, appearing in such dramas as "Dream High," "Winter Traveler," and "Crash Landing on You."
Meanwhile, ASTRO debuted in 2016. The group is comprised of Cha EUN WOO, YOON SANHA, and MJ, with Cha EUN WOO set to enlist in the military band on July 28th.
