The hit K-animation "The King of Kings" has announced the Korean dubbing cast. Lee Byung Hun will be playing the role of Charles Dickens, the great British author.
The role of Jesus will be played by Jin Seong Kyu (INFINITE), who will portray Jesus' journey from birth to resurrection, sometimes firmly and sometimes warmly and compassionately, and will portray his unique deep emotions.
Lee Han-i will be playing both Catherine Dickens, wife of Charles Dickens, and Maria, simultaneously, demonstrating her diverse acting skills.
Yang Dong-geun plays Peter, a man who moves between passionate trust and human conflict, and expresses his complex inner world in his own unique way.
Cha In Pyo exudes a solid presence as Bondio Bilad, the powerful man who sentences Jesus to death.
Here, Kwon Oh-joon conveys intense energy as King Herot, who torn between fear and desire.
Jang Kwang will take on the role of the high priest, who amplifies the conflict between authority and obsession, adding to the tension of the drama.
The role of Charles Dickens' youngest son, Walter Dickens, will be played by voice actress Choi Ha-ri.
Director Jang Seong-ho said, "It is an honor to be able to complete a work with such great actors and voice actors.
The story's power is now being conveyed to Korean audiences through the combined efforts of the excellent acting of the actors.
"I'm happy that I'm able to convey such strong emotions," he said. "The King of Kings" will be released in Korean cinemas in July of this year.
