The story depicts Geum-ju (Choi Suyeong) embarking on a liver transplant. With the arrival of a donor, Gwang-ok has hope of receiving a liver transplant, but just before the operation, the donor's family retracts their intention to donate, and the situation becomes complicated.
However, Kum-ju decided that she could not wait for another opportunity, and despite the diagnosis that a transplant was impossible due to her fatty liver values, she continued to exercise every day and made a quick recovery.
However, it was none other than Gwang-ok who prevented the operation. She stubbornly refused, saying that she could not harm her daughter's body for her own sake, and despite the persuasion of her family,
But she was reluctant to open up. Then, Wijun (Kong Myung) told her how much effort Geum-ju put into her surgery and persuaded her to get the surgery for Geum-ju.
Gwang-ok shed tears as she hugged Geum-ju and finally decided to operate. When the operation was successful, the tense atmosphere in Geum-ju's family returned to normal. Geum-ju was in hospital for a while.
To express her gratitude to Wijun for all the care he had given her, she prepared a birthday date for him, and the two grew closer as they spent that exciting day together.
