China's fixed asset investment up 3.7% year-on-year in Jan-May: Chinese report

China's fixed asset investment (excluding farms) in the first five months of the year increased 3.7% year-on-year to 19.1947 trillion former (approximately 387.2 trillion yen). Of this, private fixed asset investment increased 1.2% year-on-year to 1.26 trillion former.
By industry, primary industry investment increased 8.4% to 384.7 billion former (approximately 7.8 trillion yen), and secondary industry investment increased 11.4% to 6.7996 trillion former (approximately 137.2 trillion yen).
