President Lee: ”Ulsan's manufacturing capabilities combined with data technology will make the future even brighter”

On the 21st, President Lee Jae-myung stated in connection with the launching ceremony of the Ulsan Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Center, "Ulsan will be reborn as the center of digital innovation in the Republic of Korea.
"I think it is very meaningful to be able to witness this," he said. In a message posted on his Facebook page that day, President Lee said, "Advanced technology and data are the foundation of national competition.
"In an era when industries will become the center of power, the Ulsan AI Data Center will lead innovation across industries, create new jobs and inject vitality into the local economy."
He continued, "If the capabilities of Ulsan's manufacturing industry are combined with cutting-edge data technology, our country's industrial competitiveness will become even stronger and the future will become even brighter.
President Lee said, "Korea has now passed its period of high economic growth and is facing numerous challenges, including uncertainty in the global economy, competition for technological leadership, rapid demographic change, and the climate crisis.
"What is important now is what we choose and how we move forward," he said. "The power to turn a crisis into an opportunity starts with a bold spirit of challenge and is driven by boldness through change and innovation."
"It is time to prepare for a new future," he added. "I hope that this trend of innovation that has begun in Ulsan will bring positive changes to the entire Republic of Korea and inspire hope and possibilities."
"I am confident that if we join forces, we will surely overcome the current crisis and create a better Republic of Korea," he said.
