After a male cast member of variety shows "I Am Solo" and "I Am Solo, Love Continues After" was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, the production team issued an apology.
On the 24th, the production team for "I am SOLO" said, "We apologize for causing concern to the many viewers who love "I am SOLO".
"We learned about the court's issuance of an arrest warrant for Park, a cast member of the drama, on criminal charges through a news report on the morning of the 24th," the production team said. "The production team recognizes the seriousness of the case.
We plan to take measures to ensure that viewers are not inconvenienced when broadcasting the programs. We will also edit and delete performers as much as possible from those that have already aired."
They continued, "Despite the fact that we had urged the cast members to be careful and vigilant before and after the broadcast, this incident occurred, and the production team feels a deep sense of responsibility and regrets it.
Even after filming, we will be strictly managing the cast to ensure they adhere to their contractual obligations and fulfill their responsibilities," he said. "We will continue to work hard to respond to the loving interest of our viewers.
"We will be very careful when making the film," he added. According to police on the same day, Mapo Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 30s, surnamed Park, on suspicion of attempted rape the previous day.
Park is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in a parking lot in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul at around 3:30 a.m. on the 21st.
The police who made an emergency arrest of Park immediately applied for an arrest warrant, and the court issued the warrant the day before. Park is currently appearing in "I am SOLO" and "I am SOLO, Love Continues"
She has continued her broadcasting activities.
