Actor Jin Tae Hyeong has successfully completed surgery for thyroid cancer. On the 24th, Jin Tae Hyeong posted on his SNS, "I am truly at peace now. My wife came to me early in the morning with her hands tightly wrapped around my neck.
He continued, "The surgery was completed successfully at around 11 a.m. on June 24, 2025. After the surgery, Professor Kim Bum came to the recovery room directly.
"Everyone was worried about me, and they held my hand and told me not to worry anymore," she said. "Thanks to everyone's concern, the cancer cells in my body have now disappeared. I am grateful. I will never forget your support and prayers."
Previously, Jin Tae Hyeong had revealed through social media that he had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and was about to undergo surgery. He then shared his current condition after the surgery.
Jin Tae Hyeong said, "Looking back on the few months of my life in which I lived with the word cancer, whether big or small, deep or distant, I no longer know how to live my life from now on.
"It was a time that could be cured with surgery, but I am grateful for how I could have spent my time if that had not happened."
