”NewJeans” provisional injunction banning independent activities finalized... Appeal abandoned

A court's provisional injunction banning the Korean girl group New Jeans from continuing their independent activities has been finalized.
On the 25th (today), according to the legal profession, "NewJeans" had the status of a planning company until the previous day (24th).
The company did not file a second appeal to the appellate court that upheld the provisional disposition ruling prohibiting the signing of preservation and advertising contracts. A second appeal must be filed within one week from the date of the ruling.
If a second appeal is filed, the case will be referred to the Supreme Court. If a second appeal is not filed, the provisional disposition will be finalized. The court dismissed NewJeans' appeal against the provisional injunction that prohibited ADOR from maintaining its status as a planning company and concluding advertising contracts.
The court granted all of the applications for provisional injunctions, including those for the closure of the stores. NewJeans filed an appeal against this, but it was dismissed in April of this year, and it appealed again, but this was also dismissed.
In November of last year, NewJeans announced that their contract with HYBE's label ADOR had been terminated due to a violation of their exclusive contract, and that they would begin their own activities under the new group name "NJZ."
In response, ADOR filed an application for a provisional injunction against NewJeans in January of this year, requesting that the company be prevented from independently concluding advertising contracts.
Meanwhile, the first trial of ADOR's lawsuit against NewJeans to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract is currently underway. NewJeans is appealing the provisional injunction banning independent activities.
The company is expected to abandon the plan and focus on the main lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract.
