South Korean President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating has risen by 9 percentage points since two weeks ago

The results of a public opinion poll announced on the 26th showed that South Korean President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating has increased by 9 percentage points from two weeks ago.

According to the results of the National Barometer Survey (NBS), conducted by four research companies on the 23rd to 25th of this month among 1,000 men and women aged 18 and over, President Lee's approval rating was 62%, while disapproval was 21%.
Compared to the results in the second week of this month, just after President Lee took office, his approval rating increased by 9 percentage points, while his disapproval rating fell by 7 percentage points.
In addition, the approval rating for the ruling Democratic Party of Korea was 45%, while the People Power Party was 20%.
The order of support was the New Reform Party at 5%, the Fatherland Reform Party at 4%, and the Progressive Party at 1%. On the other hand, President Lee's announcement of the "selection of Kim Min-Seok as the prime ministerial candidate" was met with comments such as "It's a good selection."
Regarding the method of providing funds to help restore people's livelihoods, 48% said that "it should be distributed according to income level," 27% said that "it should only be provided to the socially vulnerable," and 31% said that "it is the wrong choice."
"Equal support should be given to all citizens," was the answer given by 21%.
