AI blocks voice phishing, LGU+ starts offering its own technology (South Korea)

The major telecommunications company LG U+ (LGU+) is developing AI (artificial intelligence) specialized for security to protect its customers from phishing attacks, which have become increasingly serious in recent years.
LG has announced that it will incorporate its proprietary "anti-deep voice technology" into its AI call agent service "ixi-O."
Based on the AI Research Institute's LLM (large-scale language model) "EXAONE," we have developed our own sLLM (small-scale language model) "EXIJE" by learning communication data.
The service will use ixi-GEN, a voice recognition technology developed by LGU+. LGU+'s anti-deep voice technology detects unnatural pronunciations and abnormal voice frequencies from fake voices.
The company not only has the technology to detect fake or altered voices, but also has "anti-deep facial recognition technology" that can analyze AI-synthesized faces.
The technology has been optimized to operate smoothly in an on-device environment. LGU+ will use anti-deep phishing technology to detect and block video-based phishing scams.
The plan is to provide a service that blocks crime and quickly identifies forged or altered content.
