”ENHYPEN” advances to the ”dream stage” of Japanese stadiums today (5th)... Attention-grabbing performance on the front page of major newspapers
The group ENHYPEN is set to heat up Japan's large stadiums.
ENHYPEN (Jeon Won, Hyeon, Jay, Jake, Seonghun, Sonu, and Niki) will hold the “ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘WALK THE LINE’ IN JAPAN -SUMMER EDITION-” (hereinafter referred to as SUMMER EDITION) at Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium on the 5th and 6th, and at Osaka's Yanmar Stadium Nagai from August 2nd to 3rd.
This concert holds special significance as it marks the shortest period (4 years and 7 months) for an overseas artist to achieve stadium performances in Japan since their debut. ENHYPEN has demonstrated their explosive growth momentum by quickly breaking into Japan's “dream stage” stadiums, reaffirming their status and influence as a top-tier K-POP group.
The area around the concert venue is already buzzing with excitement in anticipation of the event. Major sports newspapers such as Sports Hochi, Daily Sports, and Nikkan Sports have produced special editions featuring ENHYPEN on the front page, focusing extensively on their activities. At convenience stores near the venue, lines of ENGENE (the fanbase name) have formed to purchase these editions.
In the Tokyo area, in collaboration with SUMMER EDITION, various events for fans (Fan Experience Tokyo) are currently underway with great success. This event, which began on the 24th of last month, features regionally tailored programs utilizing ENHYPEN's IP, such as advertisements on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, special exhibitions at Tokyo Tower, and food trucks.
Through their agency BELIFT LAB, ENHYPEN stated, “Given the significant interest shown by many people, we have prepared to deliver a great performance. The stadium tour is a process through which ENHYPEN can take a significant leap forward. We approach it with a sense of honor.”
This performance, titled 'SUMMER EDITION', is expected to feature special water-themed performances. ENHYPEN added, “We will focus on creating a stage where we can have fun with ENGENE and enjoy a refreshing performance. We will present a stage that leaves a lasting impression, so please look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, the title track 'Shine On Me' from ENHYPEN's 4th single 'YOI', which was released on the 4th, immediately ranked in the top tier of LINE MUSIC's real-time Song Top 100 upon release, igniting its popularity. This song was featured as the ending theme for the drama 'Even Shrimp Want to Catch Sea Bream', drawing significant attention. ENHYPEN's new Japanese single, their first in about two years, will be released on the 29th.
