China's e-commerce logistics index reaches highest this year in June - Chinese report

On the 9th, the China Logistics Purchasing Federation released China's e-commerce logistics index for June. Due to the continuous development of the replacement policy and the intensive promotion of e-commerce platforms, the index for June increased 1.2%.
Consumers' enthusiasm for online shopping has increased. China's e-commerce logistics index for June rose 0.2 points from the previous month to 111.8. The index has increased from the previous month for four consecutive months.
In June, it recorded its highest value this year. Among the major item indices, the total business volume index, rural business volume index, personnel index, and loading rate index all increased from the previous month.
The volume index rose 0.6 points to 130.8. The rural business volume index increased at a faster pace than the previous month, rising 0.8 points to 130.4.
From the perspective of demand, EC consumption situations are becoming more diverse and complex, and purchasing motivation is strong in the summer.
Form companies are focusing on the promotion of foreign trade products, providing people with a variety of consumption choices. On the supply side, the replacement policy has led to a notable consumption power in the digital home appliance sector.
As the number of orders increases, there are high requirements for e-commerce logistics transportation organization, logistics time efficiency and service quality. With the graduation season and summer consumption season approaching, the e-commerce logistics market is expected to remain stable.
