I've had many summer tour concerts with the members on my birthday, so I have a lot of memories with my fans on my birthday.
It's been a while since I've had the chance to make new memories on my birthday, so I want to leave a wonderful memory for my fans. Q.
During his solo concerts in March and April this year, he prepared everything himself.
I heard that you were involved in a lot of aspects of this birthday live event yourself? Yes, that's right. I did it all myself, from selecting the songs, to the flow of the stage, to working on the sound sources.
I may not be perfect in many ways, but the happiness of my fans is my joy, so I am doing my best. Q.
What was the best birthday present you received as a child?
If you have any memorable stories, please tell us about them. I was given a Sonic stuffed toy when I was 7 years old. I was a boy, but I loved stuffed toys. I kept that stuffed toy for more than 3 years.
Q. Since the beginning of this year, you have had many opportunities to perform on stage in Japan. Was there a moment when you felt closer to your Japanese fans?
Since we performed at many venues close to each other, I was able to feel the fans' feelings more strongly.
So actually, when I make eye contact with my fans, I start thinking about all sorts of things and often end up making mistakes in the lyrics (laughs). Q.
Is there any new performance or direction you're trying for this live event? I'm thinking of choosing a song from a genre I've never sung before.
Since this is your birthday live, I would like to give a gift to all of your fans by sending them various messages. Q. What messages or letters have you received from your fans recently that have particularly touched your heart?
Do you have any words? There was a letter that said, "No matter how painful or sad things are, as long as I meet HOON I'll be happy."
After reading that, I started to care more about the lives of each and every one of my fans.
So, I wanted the moment when people came to see me to be one where they could think of only happy memories, and that became one of my goals for my live performances.
