「BTS」JIN、初のソロ米国コンサートで最高記録達成…ホンダセンター史上最多観客動員のK-POP公演に
BTS' JIN sets new record with first solo US concert... Honda Center's largest-ever K-POP concert
BTS's JIN achieved a record-breaking performance at his first solo concert in the United States. JIN, a representative global superstar, once again demonstrated his presence as a solo artist.

From June 28th to August 10th, JIN is holding his first solo fan concert and first solo world tour, “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR.” On the 17th (local time, 18th in Japan), he performed his first U.S. concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim, U.S., amid the highest level of excitement.

JIN delivered a diverse setlist featuring his signature beautiful silver voice, performing tracks from his previously released mini-albums 'Happy' and 'Echo', the single 'The Astronaut', solo tracks from BTS group albums, and a medley of BTS songs, offering a variety of highlights throughout the performance. With his fantastical live performance and heartfelt fan service, he reaffirmed his reputation as the 'God of Beauty' and the 'Live King'.

Many American fans attended the concert dressed in various Halloween-inspired costumes, adding to the festive atmosphere with their enthusiastic cheers.

The Korean concert held in Goyang, the Japanese concert in Chiba, and the concert at Osaka's Kyocera Dome all sold out every seat, including restricted view seats and the 8th floor, leaving no empty seats. This overwhelming popularity, described as “a rare case in Japan,” was further demonstrated by JIN's new history-making performance in the U.S.

According to the TouringAsiaPop official account, JIN's concert was the K-POP concert with the highest number of attendees in Honda Center history. JIN is the Korean solo artist who has drawn the largest audience in Anaheim, and his concert is also the most ticket-selling BTS concert since the 2017 'THE WINGS TOUR'. Additionally, JIN is the first Korean artist to sell out two consecutive days at the Honda Center over the same weekend, and he holds the record for the highest audience count among BTS solo artists in Orange County.

TouringAsiaPop also reported that “Eight years after the next-generation leaders ‘BTS’ stepped into the Honda Center, which was packed with enthusiastic fans, the worldwide heartthrob JIN made his comeback as a solo artist.” It noted that the first day in the US was completely sold out, with over 13,000 fans filling the venue. It also revealed that multiple records were broken within minutes of ticket sales beginning.

TouringAsiaPop stated, “The Honda Center should have anticipated the blood, sweat, and tears of fans who have waited years for JIN's U.S. tour.” It added, “Finally, as a Korean solo artist, he achieved the highest attendance and ticket sales record in the venue's history, and as the first Korean artist to sell out the venue twice in a row. The demand for concert tickets was so high that they sold out three to four times.” According to the box office, upgradeable tickets are still in short supply, with none remaining, and it added that those who can attend JIN's performance tonight are truly fortunate. He also expressed anticipation for the next performance, asking when JIN's tour will resume after 2025. TouringAsiaPop noted that no resales were recorded this time, and side views were thoroughly accounted for, so the overall data will be reflected in the Billboard charts.

TouringAsiaPop referred to JIN, who has achieved numerous record-breaking achievements, as “King” Seokjin, and announced that over 100,000 tickets were sold for the “#RUNSEOKJIN_epTOUR” tour's eight performances across the United States. JIN is one of three BTS members to have achieved the record of selling over 100,000 tickets in the United States, and he achieved this record with the fewest number of performances among the three, at eight.

Following the second performance of the “RUNSEOKJIN TOUR” (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR) in Anaheim, U.S., on the 18th (local time), JIN will continue the tour in Dallas, Tampa, and Newark. He will perform a total of 18 shows in nine cities, including London, UK, and Amsterdam, Netherlands. Notably, JIN will make history as the first K-POP solo artist to hold a solo concert at the London O2 Arena.
