Park Bo-gum shed tears at IU's surprise appearance.

On the final episode of KBS2's 'THE SEASONS - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' aired on the 1st, Kim Bumsoo, Zion.T, friends from musicals, and IU appeared as guests, and Park Bo-gum shed tears at IU's surprise appearance.

Park Bo-gum and Kim Bumsoo collaborated on the stage performance of “Last Love.” Kim Bumsoo praised Park Bo-gum's piano skills and sincerity, saying, “Is he even human?”

When Park Bo-gum said he wanted to be like Kim Bumsoo's “sensitivity and skill,” Kim Bumsoo strongly opposed it, saying, “That's not allowed,” which elicited laughter.

Kim Bumsoo sang “I Want to See You” accompanied by Park Bo-gum. When Kim Bumsoo missed a note midway through the song, he confessed, “How much did I want to see you that I missed a note while singing ‘I Want to See You’ for the first time in a long time?” causing laughter.

Park Bo-gum said he would make up for it and started singing. Even Park Bo-gum, who was singing passionately, missed a note at the end. Kim Bumsoo jokingly said, “We both missed the note at the same place. I always sing well, so it's okay to make a mistake once in a while.”

Kim Bumsoo introduced the group he formed with his friends, “Talent Wasting Brothers,” and performed the popular songs ‘Malatanful’ and “Tiramisu Cake” live.

Zion.T took the stage. Park Bo-gum described the moment while touching the lyrics, saying, “It was like a scene from a movie in everyday life. I could really relate to it.”

Park Bo-gum and Zion.T sang “Yanghwa Bridge” and “NO MAKE UP” together. Zion.T improvised an unreleased, unfinished song titled “LOVE ME.” Seeing the audience's reaction, Zion.T said, “Seeing the reaction, I need to build it up,” and smiled.

When Park Bo-gum took on the small theater musical “LET ME FLY” in 2023, his musical friends Kim Tae-han, Yoon Gon-ju, Kim Do-bin, Lee Hyun-hoon, Hong Ji-hee, An Ji-fan, Shin Jae-bom, and Na Hana appeared as guests. They filled the stage with “The World Is Changing” and explained to Park Bo-gum that he was “number one in sincerity.”

A letter from No Young-sim arrived. No Young-sim presented a song for Park Bo-gum.

A video letter from BTS's V arrived. V left an encouraging message, saying, “Bo-gum asked, ‘When are you coming, Taehyung?’ but I couldn't go because I was in the US preparing for the next album. I'm really sorry. I'd like to film together if I get the chance.” Following that, Roy Kim, Dragon Pony, Jean Drey, Jung Sumin, and IU sent video letters.

IU said, “I promised I would come someday, but I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise. You know I've been working hard every week. I'm really sorry I couldn't keep my promise, so I came.” She then took the stage.

IU knelt down and presented a bouquet to Park Bo-gum. In an unexpected situation, Park Bo-gum shed tears, and IU playfully teased him, saying, “I came out as brightly as possible to avoid crying.”

Park Bo-gum said, “Actually, I wanted to invite him as a guest today, but I was too busy filming the drama to call him. I couldn't have predicted or expected this,” and burst into laughter, saying, “I'm so embarrassed to have shown my tears.”

Park Bo-gum addressed his nickname, “The Funniest Man in the World,” saying, “Actually, I know about it. Everyone would laugh when they saw my face.” He added, “I tried to show off my handsome face by drinking a lot of water before eating on the day before the ‘Cantabile’ shoot,” answering with a slightly playful tone.

IU, who prepared a song, said, "I wanted to try singing together, but it seems that Bo-gum will be participating in the band performance with everyone. So I thought I'd try to sing with them during rehearsal, but Bo-gum was there too. So this is the first time I'm trying it.“ She then added, ”It was hard to keep it a surprise," bringing laughter to the audience.

IU sang “Red Sneakers.” In response, Park Bo-gum suddenly suggested singing “Square Dream.” Park Bo-gum played the instrument, and IU sang with him.

IU was asked the official question, “What does Park Bo-gum mean to you?” IU replied, “I'm truly envious. I felt it even while filming. He has so much talent yet doesn't rest on his laurels, and having both a strong heart and a humble heart at the same time is very enviable. He's someone who keeps me on my toes.”

Park Bo-gum said, “Let's cherish our friendship and maybe I can receive music from IU in the future,” solidifying their bond. The two sang “Let's Meet on Friday” together as their final song.

Park Bo-gum announced that his duet with Yoon Jung-shin, “Uphill,” would be officially released, and closed the event with SORAN's “It's Okay.”
