BTS' JIN's US tour a success... Los Angeles Times reports ”Master class in fan communication”

BTS member JIN successfully completed his fan concert tour in the US, which was met with rave reviews from foreign media.

According to his agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, JIN kicked off the tour on the 17th (local time) in Anaheim, USA, and held a total of eight fan concerts in four cities, including Dallas, Tampa, and Newark, under the title “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in U.S.,” connecting with over 90,000 fans.

JIN's U.S. tour garnered significant attention alongside various new records. JIN's fan concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim set a new record for the highest number of attendees among Korean artists' performances. The concert at the American Airlines Center in Dallas became the first sold-out performance by a Korean solo artist, demonstrating his overwhelming ticket-selling power.

Foreign media also praised the tour. The Los Angeles Times reported, “JIN demonstrated masterful fan communication at the Honda Center. His performance was meticulously planned like a special love letter to fans, filled with joyful and sophisticated energy.” It continued, "JIN communicates with fans in an appealing way and conveys his heart. This is why fans love him. BTS members' solo performances are a prime example of how they are artists with their own unique strength and charm beyond being part of the group."

The American business magazine Forbes reported, "JIN demonstrated stable vocals even with complex high notes. With his wide vocal range and high-note control, he proved himself to be a vocalist with more than just a handsome face.“ Additionally, the magazine mentioned the scene where fans worldwide sang along to the Korean lyrics of 'Spring Day', adding, ”JIN paused the song to gaze at the audience, fully embracing the moment. This performance began with the audience's desire to enjoy themselves and run freely."

This fan concert was structured as an extension of the unique content 'Run Jin', which is being unveiled through BTS's official YouTube channel, onto the stage. The unconventional opening, where he walked between screens, pressed a buzzer button, and shouted “Challenge,” harmonized with the live stage that alternated between ballads and rock, leading to the audience's passionate response. The games and cosplay events held with fans further highlighted JIN's friendly charm.

JIN will kick off his European tour on the 5th and 6th at the O2 Arena in London, UK. He will be the first Korean solo artist to perform at the O2 Arena, leaving a meaningful mark in concert history.
