The film topped the box office charts on the 2nd, attracting 478,519 viewers. It has maintained the top spot for four consecutive days since its release on the 30th of last month. The total number of viewers is now 1,452,254.
The film is a human comedy TV series based on the popular webtoon of the same name. The story follows a father, Jung-hwan (Cho Ji-ho), who begins secret training to protect his daughter, Soo-ah (Choi Yuri), who has turned into a zombie.
The film depicts the life-or-death struggle of the heroine, Jung-seok. Directed by Pil Gam-sung, it stars actors Lee Jung-eun, Cho Yeo-jung, and Yoon Kyung-ho. It is the fastest film released this year to reach 1 million viewers.
The racing drama "F1" starring Brad Pitt came in second place. "From the Perspective of an Omniscient Reader" starring Lee Min-ho and Ahn Hyo-seop drew a total of 930,000 viewers.
