”Are you sending my child to hell?” Parents protest after being served sundae in school lunch (South Korea)

A case was reported in which a teacher received complaints from parents because he served fried sundae (stuffed pork sausage) in the school lunch.
On the 3rd, online communities and social media were flooded with comments such as, "What if my child goes to hell?
Can you take responsibility for this?" was shared. A user who claimed to be a teacher wrote, "Today's school lunch was fried sundae, but the children ate it well.
However, after school, a parent came to the school office and said with a straight face, "I'm not going to give you food that contains blood, even though animal blood is prohibited in our church.
"Did you serve it as food?" I asked, and he sighed. "If my child goes to hell, will you take responsibility?" I pressed him.
Regarding the situation at the time, Mr. A said, "At that moment, the atmosphere in the faculty office became frozen."
"Religion should be respected, but should schools have to serve meals according to a specific religion? I wonder if from now on, they will have to write a memorandum of responsibility when serving school lunches.
