On the 11th, Stray Kids member Changbin celebrated his birthday by donating 100 million won (approximately 10.47 million yen) to Samsung Seoul Hospital. The donation will be used to cover the surgical and treatment costs of socially disadvantaged children and adolescents who have difficulty receiving treatment due to financial difficulties, as well as to support programs that help them achieve psychological stability.
Changbin shared his feelings, saying, “On my birthday, I am deeply grateful to be able to respond to the love of my fans and bring a little hope to the children. I hope my heart can help the children recover and grow up healthy.”
In connection with this, a representative from Samsung Seoul Hospital stated, “Changbin's warm heart and the 100 million won donation will be a great source of strength for the children and their families. We will use the donation carefully for the children's treatment and recovery.”
Changbin continues to practice acts of kindness and generosity, spreading positive influence. In 2025, he donated to Hope Bridge (National Disaster Relief Association) and World Vision alongside members of Stray Kids to support the recovery efforts for the mountain fire damage in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions. In 2023, he supported the international relief organization “The Promise” with a donation for emergency relief for the Turkey-Syria earthquake, and was appointed to the “Owners Club.”
Meanwhile, “Stray Kids” recently concluded their largest-scale world tour to date, “<dominATE>,” with 54 performances across 34 regions worldwide. They will make their comeback in Korea on August 22 with their first full-length album in two years, 'KARMA', and the title track 'CEREMONY'.
