Home prices in 70 major Chinese cities fell in July from the previous month: Chinese report

The National Bureau of Statistics announced China's housing price fluctuations for July on the 15th. Housing prices in China's 70 major cities fell from the previous month. The rate of decline compared to the same month last year also narrowed slightly overall.
New home prices in first-tier cities fell 0.2% month-on-month, a 0.1 percentage point decrease from the previous month. Beijing remained flat, Shanghai rose 0.3%, and Guangzhou rose 0.3%.

Prices in second-tier cities fell 0.4% year-on-year, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month.
Prices fell 0.5%, a 0.1 percentage point decrease from the previous month. New home prices in "third-tier cities" fell 0.3%, the same as the previous month. Used home prices fell 0.5%, a 0.1 percentage point decrease from the previous month.
This was a 0.1 percentage point decrease from the previous month. Meanwhile, looking at new home prices in each city compared to the same month last year, first-tier cities saw a 1.1% decline, a 0.3 percentage point decrease from the previous month.
The "tier 3 cities" fell 4.2%, a 0.4 percentage point reduction in decline.
Of the 70 major cities, new home prices rose in five cities compared to the same month last year, an increase of two cities from the previous month.
In addition, looking at used home prices in each city compared to the same month last year, first-tier cities saw a 3.4% drop, an increase of 0.4 percentage points from the previous month. Second-tier cities saw a 5.6% drop,
The decline narrowed by 0.2 percentage points. Third-tier cities saw a 6.4% decline, narrowing the decline by 0.3 percentage points.
