China's delivery volume surpasses 112 billion in January-July period, up 18.7% year-on-year - Chinese media

According to the State Post Administration, postal service revenue in July increased 8.6% from the same month last year to 144.98 billion yen (approximately 3 trillion yen). Of this, parcel delivery revenue increased 8.9% to 120.64 billion yen.
The volume of deliveries in July increased by 12.6% to 17.79 billion. Of these, the volume of home delivery services increased by 15.1% to 16.4 billion.
In addition, sales from postal services for the period from January to July increased 8.3% year-on-year to a total of 1,180.7 billion yen (approximately 20.9 trillion yen). Of this, income from delivery services increased 9.9% to a total of 83.
The total volume of deliveries from January to July increased by 16.2% to a total of 122.3 billion. Of this, the volume of home delivery services increased by 18.7% to a total of 112.05 billion.
During the same period, the volume of parcel deliveries within the same region increased by 6.5% to a total of 9.26 billion deliveries, and the volume of parcel deliveries to other regions increased by 19.9% to a total of 100.43 billion deliveries.
The volume of parcel deliveries to overseas destinations, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan increased by 19.2% to a total of 2.36 billion deliveries.
