Every year, readers of the magazine "The Travel" vote for the winners in various categories, including travel destinations, hotels, and tourist cities.
This year, 800,482 people participated in the selection process. Voting took place from September last year to May this year. Following Seoul, Dublin in Ireland came in second, Hong Kong in third, and London in the UK.
London came in fourth place. The awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles, USA on the 19th (local time). Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Foundation have awarded Seoul the "Most Beloved City" by the global MZ generation for the fourth consecutive year.
