TV CHOSUN's new variety show “My Way - Over-Immersion Club” (hereinafter referred to as “My Way”) is scheduled to premiere on September 3rd. “My Way” is a reality show that observes the daily lives of people who immerse themselves in a particular subject. It aims to capture those “over-immersion moments” that everyone experiences, promising a unique blend of enjoyment and relatability.
“My Way” boasts a star-studded lineup. Tak Jae-hoon, Che Jung-an, Yunho, “SUPER JUNIOR”s Leeteuk, and Mimi Minu have been confirmed as MCs. As stars who actively traverse their own fields and genres, their daily moments of obsession and the interactions and chemistry they share when they meet are drawing significant attention. Additionally, Kim Young-bin, who appeared on TV CHOSUN's “Mr. Trot 3,” will make his debut in an observational variety show through “My Way.”
In this context, we spoke with Yunho. Yunho debuted in 2003 with TVXQ and captivated Asia, reigning as a “K-POP Legend Idol.” Not only that, but through the recently released 'Low Life', he showcased his realistic acting skills, earning praise for the “rediscovery of actor Jung Yunho.” Having reached a turning point in his life as both an idol and an actor, what motivated him to choose the immersive observation variety show “My Way”?
Yunho explained his reason for appearing on the show, saying, “I liked the program's slogan. ‘Everyone has at least one thing they're passionate about. Even if others don't easily understand it, there's a clear reason for the person involved, and that immersion helps them endure daily life and shape the direction of their life. It's not because someone told them to, or for the sake of reward, but simply because they love it, find it enjoyable, and can't help but continue.’ This slogan aligns with my own thoughts, so I decided to appear on the show.”
Yunho also expressed satisfaction with the chemistry among the five MCs (Tak Je-hun, Che Jung-an, Yunho, Leeteuk, and Mimi Minu) who will co-host “My Way.” He said, “They are diverse in their fields of activity and have a wealth of experience, so it should be interesting. I expect to learn a lot.”
Finally, Yunho stated, “As intended by the program's concept, I believe it will be a show where viewers can honestly relate to the stories of people living their daily lives in slightly different ways through the camera lens. Just because someone is different from others doesn't mean they're wrong. So I think it will be more enjoyable. I hope viewers will simply watch the daily lives of people immersed in their own ways.”
Meanwhile, TV CHOSUN's “My Way - Immersed Club” will begin airing in Korea on September 3rd at 10 PM.
