China's machinery industry 'operating well'... Added value increased year-on-year in January-July - Chinese media

According to the latest data released by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the added value of the five major industries in the machinery industry maintained an upward trend compared to the same period last year in the first seven months of this year.
General-purpose device manufacturing increased 8.3% year-on-year, dedicated device manufacturing increased 3.8%, and automobile manufacturing increased 10.9%.
The electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 11.9%, and the instrument manufacturing industry increased by 7.1%. Fixed asset investment showed stable growth in the general-purpose device manufacturing industry, the dedicated device manufacturing industry, and the automobile manufacturing industry.
Among the major products of the machinery industry, production of metalworking machines increased by 13.9% to 480,000 units, and production of industrial robots increased by 32.9% to 447,000 sets.
At the same time, the production of clean energy equipment grew rapidly. During the same period, China's solar cell production increased by 19.6% to 47,396 kilowatts.
The export of wind turbines to 108 countries and regions is steadily expanding. The association said, "Since the beginning of this year, the production and sales of machinery industry products in China have steadily increased, and the machinery industry market has been booming.
