China's electricity market trade volume up 7.4% year-on-year in July: Chinese report

According to the National Energy Administration, the amount of electricity traded in the national electricity market in July reached 624.6 billion kilowatt-hours, up 7.4% from the same month last year.
Of this, the amount of electricity traded within the same province (city, district) increased by 7.3% to 461.4 billion kilowatts.
At the time of writing, the volume of electricity traded with other provinces (cities, districts) increased by 7.9% to 163.2 billion kWh, while the volume of green electricity traded increased by 43.2% to 25.6 billion kWh.
Meanwhile, the amount of electricity traded in the national electricity market from January to July this year reached 3.59 trillion kilowatt-hours, up 3.2% from the same period last year.
Of this, the amount of electricity traded within the same province (city, district) increased by 1.6% to 2.73 trillion kWh, and the amount of electricity traded with other provinces (cities, districts) increased by 9% to 61.2%.
The volume of green electricity traded increased by 42.1% to 181.7 billion kilowatt-hours.
