[Official Interview] Kevin holds his first solo concert in Japan in about 9 months, talks about his growth and his feelings for his fans

Kevin debuted as a member of the boy band U-KISS, which represents the second generation of K-POP, and has captivated many fans with his outstanding singing ability and warm personality.
After graduating from the group, he began to pursue a career as a solo artist, while also expanding his presence on the world stage as an actor and voice actor.
In 2022, she will appear in the Broadway musical "KPOP." In 2024, her starring movie will be screened internationally.
The film was screened at the 2019 International Film Festival, proving his talent in both music and acting. In May and June of this year, he will be performing at a special fan concert with former U-KISS members Hoon and Kiseop, marking his first collaboration in about eight years.

What message do you want to convey? We spoke to Kevin with the event just around the corner. Q1. After a special live concert where you reunited with the members of "U-KISS" for the first time in about 8 years, what is the message you want to convey with this solo live concert?
Aura" has been confirmed. Please tell us your honest feelings right now. It was a very meaningful time for me to be on the same stage as the members for the first time in 8 years. I hope you will continue to support me.
I was able to create wonderful memories with all the fans who came to see me. I am also very happy to be able to hold my first solo event this year. I would like to show you the solo performances I have been preparing so far.
We plan to show you a lot. Q2. What thoughts and themes are behind the title of this event, "Aura"?
What kind of “aura” do you think you want to convey?
This will be my first live performance in nine months, so I want to show how much I've grown in that time. I want to be able to convey all of my various charms.
Q3. In addition to your musical activities, you have also been active in musicals, movies, and as a voice actor in recent years. How did you use these experiences to contribute to this live performance?
How do you think you've been able to utilize this in Eve? I think you've gained a lot of new experiences up until now, and I'd love to show that to my Japanese fans in person. I'm looking forward to it.
Q4. The voice actress for "Mystery" in the Netflix anime series "KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters" also became a huge hot topic.
How do you feel about the reaction to the anime and the new connections you've made through it? I was very surprised by the enthusiastic response not only from Japan but from all over the world. It was so popular that I didn't expect it to be.
I am truly honored and filled with gratitude. I hope that through this opportunity, more people will learn about my music and its appeal. I would also like to thank the fans who have supported me all this time.
I'm truly grateful to all of you. Please look forward to my future activities. Q5. As you continue to work as a solo artist, what beliefs do you hold dear and what "things will never change"?
I'm still a beginner. I think it's important to keep that initial feeling. I want to continue to give good things to my fans while still holding on to the reason I love music and that passion.
I would be happy if I could have an impact. I also think it's important to remain humble. I feel that thanks to all my fans being with me, I am able to make my dreams come true one by one.
