【オフィシャルインタビュー】「MIMIIROSE」、東京ライブ直前インタビュー デビュー3周年を前に語る“今”の想いとは?
[Official Interview] Interview with MIMIIROSE just before their Tokyo live performance. What are their current thoughts ahead of their 3rd anniversary since their debut?
MIMIIROSE will be performing at FC LIVE TOKYO in Shinjuku, Tokyo from September 5th (Friday) to the 15th (Monday, national holiday).

It has been decided that a live event will be held at the venue. During the event, in addition to the live event, there will also be a FREE SHOW.

CASE is also planned, providing a rare opportunity to experience their performance up close.

MIMIIROSE will officially debut with their first album AWESOME in September 2022. The group name means beauty.

The name is a combination of the words 'mimiiimiii' and 'rose', and expresses the desire to "grow into a being that blooms in full glory like a gorgeous rose, likening the overlapping petals to inner and outer beauty."

The members are talented performers from Korean audition programs such as 'Girls Planet: 999' and 'After School Tokimeki', and their talents and charms are evident.

In March 2024, two new members, including a Japanese member, joined the group, restarting with a seven-member lineup. In August of the same year, the new lineup and

They released their third single 'REEBON', their first song since joining the group, showing their further evolution. In November 2024, they held their first showcase event in Japan in Shibuya, Tokyo.

The event ended with great success. We have an exclusive interview with MIMIIROSE, who have decided to hold a live event in Japan about 10 months after that memorable performance. Q.

First, please introduce yourself one by one. Please also tell us what you're into recently and what your current obsession is. JIA: Lately, I've been obsessed with recording!

I want to record and mix my own music and deliver a variety of songs to my fans, so I've been studying hard recently. Thanks to that, I'm naturally coming up with new songs and songs that suit me.

I feel like I've started searching for and listening to a lot of songs like that! If I had to recommend one song that I listen to the most, it would be Vaundy's 'Koi Kaze ni Nosete'!

YERIN: Hello! I'm YERIN, the youngest member of MIMIIROSE, with my many charms! I usually have a mature and calm personality, but

Recently, I have become completely obsessed with cats, and as a pet owner at home, I enjoy playing with Kumi's (the cat's name) soft fur and posting cute pictures on social media.

I find my healing when I watch cute cat videos. I used to temporarily take care of rescued dogs, and now I take in rescued cats. I am involved in animal welfare so that abandoned animals can have a warm home and eat family meals.

YEWON: Hello. I'm Yewon, the powerful main vocalist of MIMIIROSE. Lately, I've been into exercise.

I'm working hard to manage my physical strength in preparation. HYORI: Hello. I'm HYORI from "MIMIIROSE". I'm the oldest member of the team and I'm in charge of vocals. I've been into

I'm playing games. YEWON recommended me a game called "Roll to Chess," which is a League of Legends game, so I started playing it.

Time flies by. My goal for the previous season was Diamond, but unfortunately I ended up with Platinum. I'm still undecided about what to do this season, but I've been asking YEWON a lot of questions.

ANNA: I'm ANNA, the lead dancer of "MIMIIROSE" and I'm Japanese!! I've been hooked on matcha latte lately, and there are many days when I drink a lot. I'm in love with matcha.

YUNJU: Hello, I'm YUNJU, the sub-vocalist and middle/youngest member of "MIMIIROSE". Lately I've been into taking photos and having my photos taken.

I'm completely hooked on digital cameras. YEONJAE: Hello~ I'm YEONJ, the leader and main dancer of "MIMIIROSE" and the spirit fairy.

It's AE! It feels like the atmosphere automatically upgrades when I'm there (I'm sure the other members would agree...lol) My latest obsessions are beauty and fashion.

I always take screenshots of cosmetics, and when I'm feeling down, I look at them one by one and choose "this is it for today!" That's what soothes me. When I'm shopping, I really compare products like a detective. Q.

A FREE SHOWCASE is also planned for this live performance. We hope that everyone, including the fans who always support us, as well as those who are seeing "MIMIIROSE" for the first time, will be able to enjoy the show.

I'm sure there are many people who are new to us, but what kind of performance would you like to show them? YEONJAE: For those who are seeing "MIMIIROSE" for the first time, I think they'll think, "This team is really amazing on stage."

I want everyone to feel like, "We're having fun!" I want to show 200% of the energy and teamwork we have. As the main dancer, I'm in charge of the flow and atmosphere of the stage.

We are preparing a powerful performance that will naturally draw the audience in. We hope that not only our regular fans, but also those who are coming for the first time, will want to see it again.

JIA: It's been a really long time since we've performed in front of our fans, so we want to show them how passionate we are about our performance.

How much we yearned and desired to be on stage! If we gave our all to each song and performed with happiness and passion, our fans would feel our feelings and

I think everyone will enjoy it! Also, we are a team that is consistently good at live performances, so I think you will be able to fully enjoy the thrill of listening to a live performance! Q.

What is the atmosphere like in the waiting room right before a live performance? What do you do to relieve tension, or do you have any pre-stage routines?

ANNA: In the waiting room, I take photos with the members and practice on stage. I don't have much experience on stage, so I don't want to get nervous and make mistakes, so I mainly practice.

YEWON: First, I do a lot of vocal exercises to loosen up my vocal cords. Then I stretch to loosen up my body, and I intentionally increase my tension to relieve the tension.

I drink lots of water to keep my throat hydrated. YERIN: It seems like everyone is making good use of their own time. Some members read, some members sleep, but I

I often write lyrics and take notes inspired by various elements in my daily life. Recently, I've been reading a lot of books on philosophy, and I get inspiration from them and use them to think.

I write lyrics while putting down roots in my heart. When I start writing lyrics, the distracting thoughts and worries floating in my head disappear, and for that moment I feel like I can take control of myself, so strangely, my mind becomes at ease.

I feel like that happens. So to ease my tension, I write out lyrics or read books before going on stage! Q. When do you feel that "this girl is really cute at times like this" among the members?

Is there a particular moment that you remember? Of course, there are some memorable episodes from on stage, but also from everyday life. YUNJU: Maybe because ANNA is Japanese, she was really cute when she was unfamiliar with Korean.

She's always been so innocent, and when she first came to Korea, the way she pronounced difficult Korean words was so cute.

ANNA: I think YUNJU is really cute. Whenever YUNJU has something she wants to ask me or talk to me about, she says

Even though there is no particular reason, she calls me frequently. When I answer the phone, YUNJU says "ANNA-chan, what are you doing? I'm a little bored so I called you!" It's so cute.

I think that's YUNJU's charm (laughs). JIA: During a break in group practice, when everyone was just lazing around, YUNJU would suddenly say, "Let's practice! We don't have time! Let's practice!

We had a conversation while laughing about how YUNJU, who was the youngest at the time, had grown so much.

(laughs) It might be more like "I'm impressed" rather than "cute," but YUNJU was so cute at the time, so when I saw this question, I remembered that day.

U is so cute! YERIN: I think Hyori is the embodiment of cuteness, and her charm and gentle way of speaking make her so cute.

Q. September 16th marks the third anniversary of your debut. With new members joining and a stronger sense of unity as a group, have there been any recent moments when you felt glad that you were with these seven members?

YUNJU: When I'm practicing and it's hard, I forget all about the difficulties as soon as I'm with the other members and we start laughing, so even as the leader, I always think to myself, "These 7 members are so happy."

"I'm really glad that we're all good people." HYORI: Our members are really kind. Normally when we practice or have meetings, we have differences of opinion and it can lead to trouble, but

We have never had that experience. Even if we have different opinions, we listen to each other and find a compromise. The older sisters are the ones who get things done, and the youngest ones don't get sulky.

They follow me closely. They say that teamwork is the most difficult part of university assignments. Communication and compromise are really important in group life, but we all need to be mature.

When I see them being able to solve the problems so well, I think, "Ah, I'm really glad that these seven people are here." Q. Finally, through this live performance, "How do you want to grow as 'MIMIIROSE' in the future?"

Please tell us your promise for the future, "I want to continue doing my best," and a message you would like to convey to your fans who support you.

YUNJU: "MIMIIROSE" will become more and more known worldwide and continue to grow.

I definitely want to meet my Bloomii (fans) overseas, and I'll continue to show you my growth, so please keep watching. To all Bloomii

I'm empowered by you guys! Please continue to be with us! HYORI: I think that a "talented team" and a "visually appealing team" are both good, but more than anything, I want to be a team that people in the world can relate to.

I want to become a team that can give people energy. I have a strong desire for the song "MIMIIROSE" to resonate with people and heal their wounds.

I think it's the biggest value of the album. Also, I feel really sorry to our fans. Even though our comeback period was a little long, you always waited for us.

Thank you so much for being there for us. Even though we say we will protect you, it is actually us who are being protected. We are filled with gratitude. We will not forget that feeling and will strive to do even better.

We will do our best to show you. We love you, Bloomii. YEWON: Through this performance, we want to show how much we love music and the stage.

We will continue to work hard to become a "MIMIIROSE" that continues to grow without stopping. We are truly grateful to all the Bloomii members who always give us their unstinting support.

From the interview, you can see their sincere attitude towards their music and performance, as well as their deep love for their fans.

We hope you will come to a live venue to experience the ever-evolving MIMIIROSE.
