Hyomin (Jung Chae Young) saves a doctor who was suspected of murder. Seok-hoon and Hyomin provide first aid to a patient who collapsed on an airplane, but are later accused of murder.
The doctor revealed that the emergency patient he had given first aid to on the plane was the perpetrator of a sexual assault that he had treated in the past.
He also recalled the memory of the perpetrator being taken to the hospital while incarcerated in a detention center.
"He once refused treatment, saying, 'Life is not worth living,'" the doctor said, adding that the assailant's family, who knew about this, shifted the blame for the death onto him.
The team was at a loss for words in a situation where the only thing they could think of was bad luck, and they immediately began searching for a breakthrough. They sought to obtain as many expert opinions as possible, administer first aid to the doctor, and ensure the death of the assailant.
The plan was to prove that there was no direct causal relationship between the two. Seok-hoon, more enthusiastic than ever, said, "The truth looks different depending on the light you look at it in, and lawyers make mistakes.
He emphasized that a lawyer is someone who helps prevent the truth from being distorted by false light, and reaffirmed his mission as a lawyer. Supported by this advice, HYOMIN set out to find a clue to the case.
This provided a crucial clue that the assailant had an underlying medical condition. Then, with the help of his roommate Sora (Kwon Arum), a doctor, he pointed out the connection between the underlying medical condition and the death.
Later, they even managed to secure medical papers to prove this.
