In episode 1 (viewership rating 7.5%), an incident involving Yoon Seok-hoon's (LEEJINWOO) pet dog Hash is recurring.
When Seok-hoon's ex-wife, Seol Yo-na (Ji Yi-soo), immigrated to Singapore and faced the threat of being separated from his beloved dog, Hash, he immediately began legal action.
He made it clear that he could not unilaterally take the puppy under the circumstances, and strongly opposed the idea of sending Hash, who was like a child to him, away.
However, the current law still places animals solely within the category of property rights, and there are no lawyers specializing in this field.
Seok-hoon sighed. In the end, he entrusted the case to his juniors, Lee Jin-woo (Lee Hak-joo) and Kang Hyo-min (Jung Chae-young), who understood his situation best, and decided to investigate the infringement of his property rights.
He put all his efforts into protecting Hash. As Seok-hoon's mind became more complicated, a client appeared who further stirred things up. He came to him claiming that his personal information had been infringed during the process of exchanging his cell phone.
The person who came was actually a terrible animal abuser, and when he was reported, he boldly demanded that he be represented by Seok-hoon. In response, Seok-hoon immediately refused to take on the case, and instead decided to side with the complainant.
We took every possible measure to prevent abusers from exploiting the loopholes in the current law. However, our client was unwilling to spare any means or means to get Seok-hoon's defense.
After that, he sent her a video of the abuse and blatantly pressured her. Seok-hoon barely managed to get his hands on Hash, and after exploding with the anger he had been suppressing until the very end, he punished her in his own way, without resorting to the law.
Later, the police arrived late and shocked everyone by revealing that the client had not only assaulted animals, but also an elderly man with no family, leaving him in critical condition.
