Park Min Young recommends Lee Yi Kyung for ”The Confidence Man KR”... ”This time, he's not a useless husband”

Actress Park Min-young will be reuniting with actor Lee Yi-kyung, who played her husband in her previous work.

On the afternoon of the 1st, the production presentation for TV Chosun's new drama 'Confidence Man KR' was held at the Stanford Hotel in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Park Min-young, Park Hee-soon, Joo Jeong-hyuk, and director Nam Ki-hoon were in attendance.

Lee Yi-kyung, Song Ji-hyo, Han Geul, and Rowoon are expected to make special appearances in 'Confidence Man KR'. Lee Yi-kyung co-starred with Park Min-young as a married couple in tvN's 'Marry My Husband'.

Park Min-young explained, "The reason I recommended Lee Yi-kyung was because of the line, 'A self-absorbed man who relieves himself in the toilet while singing the Emergency Room song.' When I wondered which actor could portray that, Lee Yi-kyung came to mind."

She continued, "Lee Yi-kyung is such a perfect actor for comedy that I asked if she could appear in an episode where I was in charge of the comic, and she gladly accepted," expressing her gratitude, saying, "She appeared for six months."

Park Min-young said of 'Marry My Husband', "I met him from a worthless husband to my reliable younger brother. I feel like all the accumulated tension from the previous work has been cleared away."

Confidence Man KR is a drama that depicts the process of three con artists with different charms using outlandish methods to steal money from people obsessed with money and greed. It will begin airing in Korea at 9:10 pm on the 6th.
