"After being diagnosed with cancer, I have been undergoing treatment with great difficulty until now," he wrote, adding, "Unfortunately, in 2024 the cancer spread to my brain, and I am fighting an uphill battle every day."
She continued, "Fortunately, we have been able to find an effective treatment, but due to practical circumstances, it is very difficult to receive proper treatment," and "I have a strong desire to protect my sister, even if just a little."

The treatment mentioned by Yubin is Tukysa, a breast cancer treatment drug whose active ingredient is tucatinib.
Tuxa received approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in December 2023, but its domestic sales have been delayed indefinitely, leaving patients who need urgent treatment to rely on personal imports.
The annual cost of treatment is about 200 million won (about 20 million yen), which is a huge burden on patients and their families. Yubin is calling for people to join the national petition, saying, "We want to ensure that Tuxa is covered by health insurance and that treatment is prompt."
The petitioner said, "Even though Tuxa, an essential treatment that has proven to be extremely effective for breast cancer patients, has been approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, patients are still purchasing the drug on their own.
"The unaffordable drug costs have meant that many patients are unable to use the drug, and those already undergoing treatment are at risk of having to discontinue treatment," he said.
"We sincerely request that Tuxa be covered by health insurance benefits so that tragedies do not occur in which patients and their families are forced to give up approved lifesaving medicines while shedding tears of blood for financial reasons," they said.
