A man in his 40s who ”secretly filmed” 10 female bus passengers was a bus driver (South Korea)

A bus rapid transit (BRT) driver in his 40s was arrested by police for illegally filming around 10 female passengers. The arrest was made after a citizen who witnessed the crime at a bus stop reported the incident.
The Gyeyang Police Station in Incheon, South Korea, arrested a bus driver in his 40s on suspicion of using a camera or other device to film under the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes.
On the 4th, at around 9:30 pm, suspect A illegally filmed a female passenger getting off the bus he was driving near Jakjeon-dong, Gyeyang-gu, Incheon.
The suspect is suspected of having illegally taken photos of around 10 female passengers.
At the time, the police were called in after receiving a report from a citizen who witnessed the crime at the bus stop, and they followed the bus's movements.
Police followed the suspect and arrested him on the spot on a road in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, about 5 kilometers from the location of the report.
A police official said, "We have seized suspect A's mobile phone and are conducting digital forensics.
"We plan to investigate further crimes," he said.
