The doctor is sitting cross-legged, concentrating on his smartphone in one hand. Reactions from doctors who saw this photo were mixed.
There were many criticisms such as "It's embarrassing for a doctor" and "The dirty blood and filth on the surgical gown is likely to get on the subway seats."
However, there were also comments defending the situation, such as "Does it really deserve that much criticism?" and "We should overlook essential medical care." In response to this, one doctor said, "It's not right for a healthy man to sit in the priority seats for pregnant women.
"It is a disgrace for a doctor to say this," he said. After the post was published, it was discovered that the doctor was working at a local general hospital, and the hospital's website temporarily went down.
