China's e-commerce logistics index rose to 112.3 in August, marking sixth consecutive month of growth - Chinese media

The China Logistics Purchasing Federation announced the China E-commerce (EC) Logistics Index for August on the 10th. With the steady increase in demand, the volume of EC logistics business has continued to rise, and the EC Logistics Index reached its highest level since the beginning of the year.
The China E-commerce Logistics Index for August rose 0.3 points from the previous month to 112.3, marking the sixth consecutive month of increase. By item, the E-commerce Logistics Index rose 0.5 points to 131.
In August, the impact of weather conditions gradually decreased, and the service quality of logistics companies improved significantly. The satisfaction rate index increased by 0.4 points, and the fulfillment rate index increased by 0.5 points.
Furthermore, the sustained increase in business volume has boosted companies' hiring demand, with the employee index rising 0.5 points to a new record high since the beginning of the year.
A representative of the China Logistics Information Center said, "A series of measures to promote replacement and diversification of consumption scenes
"These policies are gradually taking effect, bringing new growth points to demand for e-commerce logistics. The total e-commerce business index continues to reach new highs," he said.
