President Lee Jae-myung returned home on the 25th (local time) after completing a five-day, three-night trip to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The plane took off from John F. Kennedy International Airport. President Lee and his wife Kim Hye-kyung boarded the plane, waving goodbye to the people who were seeing them off. The plane is scheduled to arrive at Seoul Airport on the evening of the 26th, Korean time.
The keynote speech at the UN General Assembly was the first speech given by President Lee on this tour since taking office. He declared the "return of the democratic Republic of Korea to the international community" and called for the normalization of exchanges, relations, and denuclearization.
