President Lee returns home after visiting the UN General Assembly... Declares ”Korea's return to the international community”

President Lee Jae-myung returned home on the 25th (local time) after completing a five-day, three-night trip to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to the Presidential Office, the presidential aircraft, Air Force One, was detonated at around 3:35 pm on the same day.
The plane took off from John F. Kennedy International Airport. President Lee and his wife Kim Hye-kyung boarded the plane, waving goodbye to the people who were seeing them off. The plane is scheduled to arrive at Seoul Airport on the evening of the 26th, Korean time.
The keynote speech at the UN General Assembly was the first speech given by President Lee on this tour since taking office. He declared the "return of the democratic Republic of Korea to the international community" and called for the normalization of exchanges, relations, and denuclearization.
He presented the "END Initiative," a new Korean Peninsula peace initiative centered on the idea of peace. He said, "We proudly declare that the new Republic of Korea, a beacon for global citizens, has fully returned to the international community."

In addition, during a meeting with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, he conveyed South Korea's position on tariff negotiations and foreign exchange market issues.
