SEVENTEEN's S.COUPS & MINGYU heat up the fan party... SEUNGKWAN joins as MC

S.COUPS & MINGYU, a special unit of the boy group SEVENTEEN, held a fan party to communicate more closely with their fans.
On the 5th, S.COUPS & MINGYU held the release of their first mini album "HYPE" at the Seoul Women's University auditorium in Nowon-gu, Seoul.

On the show, SEUNGKWAN appeared as a special MC and showed their deep friendship. He said, "I could feel the traces of their hard work on 'HYPE VIBES'. We've been together for over a decade,
I was so happy that the album was completed with music and a level of perfection that even I was amazed, and I wanted to help out in some way, so I volunteered to host the fan party."
S.COUPS and MINGYU, who oversaw the entire production of the first mini album, said, "(Regarding the new album)
"I couldn't let go of my desire to do things. Even if I ended up regretting it, I wanted to believe in myself and follow my own choices," he said, adding, "Every moment of making the album was full of variety.

Various fun segments were developed based on the concept of news, such as "INSIDE" and "ASK & ANSWER," where questions submitted on-site were answered.

S.COUPS & MINGYU have been gaining huge popularity both in Korea and overseas since releasing "HYPE VIBES" on the 29th of last month. The album reached #1 on the Hanteo chart on the day of its release.
It went straight to number one on the album charts, and on the fourth day it had already broken the record for the highest initial sales of a K-POP unit album (the amount of album sales in the first week after release).
"Ranking" also topped the daily and weekly charts in the EP category of the "Digital Bestselling Albums" on China's largest music platform.
SEVENTEEN will continue their activities. They will start at the Tacoma Dome in the US on the 11th (local time), and then at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on the 16th and 17th.
