TXT's Hueningkai, Relationship Rumors Begin with Sighting at a Bar”... Immediately Breaks Through

Hueningkai of South Korean boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER has addressed head-on the dating rumours that surfaced following an eyewitness account of him at an izakaya with a woman.

　In the early hours of the 10th (today), Hueningkai explained via DM on the fan community platform Weverse “I feel terribly sorry to MOA (the fans' name), and I don't understand why I have to avoid this, so I'll just speak plainly." He clarified, "I was with an acquaintance, and in that situation, I couldn't just leave them behind. I sent them off and immediately returned to the dorm."

　He detailed the circumstances, stating, "Since debut, I've genuinely hated causing trouble for the members. I'm completely an indoor person, so I don't go out much anyway. Still, it was an acquaintance I hadn't seen in a long time, so I ended up meeting them." He apologised, saying, "That was the situation, but I'm sorry for causing concern and making you worry."

　He continued, "I also dislike lying, and I simply wanted to be honest. It seems the situation led to many misunderstandings, but there is absolutely no need for MOA to worry. I want to focus more on my work and my desire to focus more on MOA is strong, so I will work even harder going forward so that MOA won't worry." He repeatedly added that he was sorry.

　Earlier, footage had surfaced on online communities showing Hueningkai leaving an izakaya with a woman during the Chuseok (Mid-Autumn Festival) holiday, before getting into a car together. The footage captured everything from him supporting a visibly intoxicated woman to them driving off, immediately sparking dating rumours.

　In response, Hueningkai directly addressed the dating rumours, offered an explanation, and swiftly concluded the matter as a misunderstanding.

　Meanwhile, Hueningkai‘s group TXT recently renewed their contract with BIGHIT Music and are currently active.
