Singer KCM teams up with hyung Jin Young to release remake ballad today (12th)

Singer KCM has teamed up with first generation K-pop singer Jin Young to release a new song, "Old Uniform." The song was composed by singer Jin Young and Hong Bo-ra, with lyrics written by KCM.
The song will be released on music sites on the 12th. It is a remake of Jo Seongmo's 2014 song "First Love," and was created after hyung Jin Young suggested the remake to his close junior colleague KCM.
While maintaining the sensibility of the original song, KCM has added his own interpretation to create a new atmosphere. This song is a collaboration between Hyun Jin Young and the band, who has created a new style with New Jack Swing, jazz hip-hop, etc.
The album is characterized by its restrained musical color and lyrical atmosphere of K-ballads. The soft melody is complemented by KCM's signature harmonica playing, a vibrant band sound, and rich strings.
KCM said, "We wanted to express the memory of first love that everyone has in their hearts like an old movie," and "We wanted to sing along to the song written by senior hyung Jin Young."
"It was a special experience to be able to do this. He gave me loving direction throughout the entire recording, which made it even more meaningful," he said.
