Ji Chang Wook receives Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award, honoring his achievements as a representative Korean actor

Actor Ji Chang Wook received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award at the 16th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards. He was once again recognized for his achievements as a representative actor of Korea, and his national popularity and global reach were further enhanced.
On October 23, 2025, Ji Chang Wook won the Cultural Award at the 2025 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards held at the National Theater of Korea, Haeoreum Theater in Jung-gu, Seoul.
He received the Minister of Sports and Tourism Award. This award is the most prestigious government award in Korea, established to raise the pride of pop culture artists and to recognize the efforts and achievements of those involved in the pop culture industry.
With this award, Ji Chang Wook has once again proven not only his popularity among the nation, but also his influence as a global artist.
Ji Chang Wook commented on receiving the award:

Following the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award, he will be holding a domestic fan meeting titled "What are you doing today?" in five cities across the country from November 4th to 8th.
Ji Chang Wook will also be appearing in the Disney+ original series "Fabricated City" from November 5th, where he will play the lead role in a passionate revenge drama.
Ji Chang Wook will return to the big screen with this award. Through this award, he has reaffirmed his status as an actor both in Korea and abroad. He will continue to contribute to the development of popular culture through his work and fan interactions.
