The closing ceremony and the 10th Gold Crane Awards ceremony of the 2025 Tokyo-China Film Week, which was held from October 21st to 28th as a collaboration project with the Tokyo International Film Festival, were held on the final day, October 2nd.
The Japan-China Film Festival, which began in 2006, celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, and as a closing event to mark the milestone, the festival featured a selection of films from both Japan and China.
A stellar lineup of guests representing the art world gathered. Zhang Yixing (LAY from EXO), who starred in the closing film "Love Is Not a Story," appeared and captivated the audience.
Other presenters included Zeng Mengxue, star of "The Perfect Breakup To-Do List," and Japanese actors Minami Kaho and Kubota Yuuki.
As the time for the closing ceremony approached, distinguished guests from both Japan and China began to take their seats one after another in the guest seats at the front of the auditorium. When Zhang Yixing appeared, the venue erupted in excitement, and many photographers surrounded him.
