K-beauty shop ”DANJANG” opens in the heart of New York...Actress Park Min Young serves as customer role model (Perfect Glow)

K-beauty shop "DANJANG" saw actress Park Min-young become a beauty role model for New York customers from its opening day.

TvN's new variety programme "Perfect Glow ― Korean Makeup Goes to New York. (hereafter "Perfect Glow") is a "K-Beauty Conquest of New York" story. Led by CEO Ra Mi-ran and Director Park Min-young, Korea's top hair and makeup experts open the Korean-style beauty shop "DANJANG" in Manhattan, New York, showcasing the essence of K-Beauty directly on location.

The first episode of "Perfect Glow", airing today (8th), depicts the tense first day at work for Ra Mi-ran, Park Min-young, Joo Jung-hyuk, Cha Hong, Leo Jay, and Pony, who ambitiously opened "DANJANG" in the heart of Manhattan's beauty salon district, often referred to as the Cheongdam-dong of Manhattan. Amidst this, from the very first day of operation, consultation room manager Park Min-young emerges as embodying a certain New Yorker customer's 'pursuit of beauty', sparking attention with their special chemistry.

On this day, 38-year-old mother-of-two 'Mary Kate', who gave birth to her second child four months ago, visits 'DANJANG' as a customer. Describing herself as a "tired mum", Mary Kate confides during her consultation with Park Min-young that she "hasn't properly worn makeup and has been going through a tough time in many ways", revealing her earnest desire to shine again through K-beauty.

Learning that Park Min-young is of the same generation, Mary Kate gazes at her with envy, remarking, "Your skin is incredible." Finally, Mary-Kate requested, "I want to be like you. I want to transform into a Korean actress style," surprising everyone.

Meanwhile, to restore Mary-Kate's hidden beauty and confidence, the 'Beauty Dream Team' members Cha Hong and Leo Jay teamed up. The two experts take special measures to restore Mary-Kate's post-pregnancy skin to a radiant complexion and cover her thinned hair volume.

Meanwhile, tvN's new variety programme "Perfect Glow" premieres in Korea tonight (8th) at 10:50pm. In Japan, it will be exclusively streamed on Prime Video from Sunday, 23rd November.
