HyunA (former 4Minute) faints during a performance in Macau... Apologizes to fans for being ”unprofessional”

Singer HyunA (formerly of 4Minute) has directly addressed concerns from worried fans regarding her fainting during a performance in Macau.

On the 9th, HyunA posted on her Instagram: "I'm truly, truly sorry. I wanted to show my best side, but I wasn't professional." She added, "To be honest, I don't remember anything either."

She continued, "I've been thinking about this a lot, but I wanted to convey this at least." She apologised again, stating, "Many Macau fans came, and of course the A-ing [fandom name] members – everyone paid to see this stage. I feel so sorry, I'm truly sorry."

HyunA then reassured fans, stating, "I will build up my stamina more and work steadily from now on. It would be wonderful if everything went exactly as I hoped, but I will try my best." She added, "I am truly fine. There is no need to worry about me."

On the 9th, HyunA suddenly collapsed while performing ‘Bubble Pop!’ on stage at Waterbomb 2025 Macau held at the Macau Outdoor Performance Venue. Footage captured by fans at the scene showed dancers supporting the fallen Hyuna as they helped her off the stage.

Following her marriage to singer Yong Junhyun (formerly of HIGHLIGHT), Hyuna faced pregnancy rumours fuelled by her increased weight. Subsequently, seeking to quell unnecessary speculation, she publicly revealed she had lost 10kg through a month-long diet, recently entering the 40kg range, which drew significant attention.
