Super Junior's Kyu Hyun and actor Kim Sung Cheol will be performing in the musical "Death Note."
Korean production of musical "Death Note" undergoes new changes
Kyu Hyun, who plays Light Yagami, and Kim Sung Cheol, the legendary actor who plays L, have joined the cast in a surprise move.
First, he accidentally finds a "Death Note" and tries to punish criminals and bring about justice.
Kyu Hyun has been newly cast as the genius and intellective Light Yagami. In the previous season, he perfected the unique role of L with his original visuals, sharp intuition, and meticulous observation skills.
Kim Sung Cheol, who played the role of the god of death, is back. The musical "Death Note" is based on the Japanese manga of the same name, and tells the story of a man who obtains the "Death Note," a notebook of the god of death, and punishes evil in society to bring about justice.
The film depicts the thrilling battle of wits between Light Yagami, a genius high school student who is trying to discover the truth, and L, the great detective who is pursuing him. The film will be on view until May 10, 2026 at D-CUBE LINK ARTS in Seoul.
The performance will be held at the CENTER. Kim Sung Cheol will make his debut on January 6th, and Kyu Hyun will make his debut on January 27th.
