[Question and Answer Interview] ”RIIZE” appears with Lay Jisoo's hip-hop style... ”The dance break in the outro is the best, even for us”
RIIZE's new single "Fame" will finally be unveiled today (24th).
"RIIZE" will be held at YES24 Live Hall at 5 PM today and will be streamed online on YouTube.
The title song "Fame" will be performed for the first time in a showcase that will be broadcast live on TikTok's "RIIZE" channel and other platforms. In addition, all songs will be available on various music sites at 6 p.m.
The music video for the title track "Fame" will be released on SMTOWN's YouTube channel.
The title song of this single, "Fame," is the first time that RIIZE has tried RAGE (Ra
It is a hip-hop number in the style of 'ge', and the lyrics express RIIZE's ideal image as an 'emotional pop artist'.
The message contained in the song is, "It is," and it is gathering attention as it will be performed with a highly challenging performance that combines relaxed flow with explosive power.
Furthermore, the R&B pop song "Something" suggests acknowledging and accepting the occasional anxiety one feels as they grow up as a part of themselves.
's in the Water" and "Sticky," a pop-rock dance song that tells a pure love story with RIIZE's unique sensitivity and power.
A total of three songs have been recorded, including "Like". RIIZE talks about the release of the single "Fame" Q&A Q. What was your first impression of the title song "Fame"?
How would you like people to listen to it? Shotaro: It's true that "RIIZE" was a style we hadn't tried before, so it felt fresh. It felt cool and free.
I hope you enjoy it and think, "This is the 'RIIZE' style." I also highly recommend you check out their performance.
Eun-seok: My first impression was that it was a little dark, but also powerful.
In that case, perhaps it could be called "inner self." I would be happy if this song gives those who listen to it an opportunity to reconsider what is most important to them. Q.
What is your favorite part in the title song "Fame"? Sungchan: If I had to choose the part that touched me the most, it would be Sohee singing "I just want a deep, intense love."
I feel like Sohee's voice really captures the emotion of the lyrics, so I like it even more. Won Bin:
There is a line in the song that goes, "How do you look at me now?"
It left a lasting impression on me because I often ask, "How was your day?" Q. What are your honest thoughts on "Fame"? What do you think true "Fame" is now?
Sohee: It's something you have to obtain as your true self. It only has meaning that way. And it's something you can't get on your own.
Anton: Of course, I think "Fame" is important. But I think I chose this path because I wanted to live for my dreams and for myself.
If we do that, fame will come naturally. I'm glad that I was able to work with such great members in the wonderful team called "RIIZE" and that I was able to meet my precious BRIIZE and have them recognize us.
It still feels amazing that more and more people are supporting us. I want to continue moving forward towards my dreams. Our title song "Fame" is more like "
I express how important "love" is, but for me, that "love" is BRIIZE, music, my family, our team, and myself.
Everyone who listens to it may find their own meaning. Q. If you had to choose the killer part of the "Fame" performance, what would you say are the killer parts of "Fame" and "Fly"?
Shotaro: I think a lot of people are wondering, but in terms of difficulty of performance, "Fame", "Siren", and "F Up" are ranked.
The order is "ly Up". "Fame" was difficult to make the most of the hip-hop groove and not miss a single note. The choreography for the chorus was also quite complicated.
Even I thought the dance break was the best. Please look forward to it. Won Bin: The final outro dance break is literally the last one.
I think the order of frequency is "Fame," "Fly Up," and "Siren." The fact that "Siren" is simpler and slower than "Fame"... Q.
When is the best time to listen to the two songs on the record, "Something's in the Water" and "Sticky Like"?
Sungchan: If I were to imagine a day in the life of BRIIZE and recommend something... I would recommend "Something's in the
I listen to "Sticky Water" quietly at night while watching the stars and getting ready to fall asleep.
I think it's good to listen to "Something's Like" in the morning when you start your day. Anton: Actually, I thought the exact opposite of Sungchan hyung (laughs).
How about starting with "In the Water" and then listening to "Sticky Like" on your way home? Q.
While filming the trailer or music video for "Fame,"
What scene did you think was cool even just by watching it? Also, what was the thing you thought about the most while recording? Eun-seok: The car at the trailer filming location was classic and cool.
So, the scene that was shot next to that car... to be honest, even I thought it was cool. There's a part in "Fame" where I rap in a low voice, but I haven't done that very often.
It was a style that lacked any particular style, so I found it difficult to create that atmosphere, but I feel that it helped me grow even more.
Sohee: When I was recording, I tried not to think about anything.
I tried to clear my head of thoughts that were not useful for coding and to relax. I think you all already talked a lot during the "Fame" music video scene.
However, I think the dance break in the outro is the coolest part. Q. What are your thoughts on the release of the new single and what would you like to say to BRIIZE?
Shotaro: It's been a while since our last comeback since the "ODYSSEY" album, but thank you so much to BRIIZE for waiting for us.
I wanted to show a new side of myself again, and I prepared hard with the desire to repay BRIIZE's love. I hope you give lots of love to "NEW RIIZE."
Eunseok: It's been a while since "RIIZE" returned with "Fame" and it has a different atmosphere than before, and while preparing with the other members, I felt that this time it was fresh and fun.
I hope you will also like BRIIZE, who will soon be meeting "Fame." Songchan: Through BRIIZE's activities for "Fame," not only I but also "RII
I think you'll be able to discover a new side of BRIIZE, so I hope you'll show lots of love. This past year has been a happy one thanks to BRIIZE, and I hope to make lots of memories next year as well.
Thank you as always. Won Bin: I'm looking forward to showing you a new song just for "RIIZE" again, and I'm curious to see what the reaction will be. We've worked hard to prepare it, so I'm excited.
I hope you will join us... Loves (a password with fans) Keep going~ Sohee: I want you to know that BRIIZE is the most important thing to me.
The more I dedicate myself to it, the more I want BRIIZE. Anton: BRIIZE, I'm happy and excited to be able to greet you again this time with a new image. I hope to continue to show you the image of "RIIZE".
Thank you for always watching over us and giving us strength. I hope you will feel that these songs are also a gift to BRIIZE.
Let's run together until the end, staying healthy and happy.
