[Official Interview] ASC2NT, who have made a leap to global fame, talk about 2025... and their thoughts on the end-of-year special live show

The globally acclaimed boy group ASC2NT has confirmed plans to hold a live event in Tokyo this December, titled "2025 ASC2NT SPECIAL LIVE EVENT IN JAPAN".

This special performance, coinciding with the festive season, will mark the culmination of 2025 alongside their fans. It promises to showcase the group's most comprehensive performance to date, representing the culmination of their evolution throughout the year.

Their "ASC2NT 1ST ASIA TOUR: BLOOMED", which commenced in August, kicked off in Seoul before touring nine Asian cities including Tokyo, Osaka, Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Singapore, igniting fervour at each stop. The tour was a resounding success, captivating audiences with overwhelming performances and compelling staging. In September, they also appeared at "WATERBOMB BALI 2025". Now, they return to the Japanese stage once more at the end of the year.

ASC2NT debuted in May 2024 with their first single "Expecting Tomorrow". The group name originates from "ASCENT", signifying "rise", embodying the aspiration to "soar high into a second life". Since their debut, they have energetically pursued activities across Japan, various Asian countries, and North America, establishing a solid presence as global artists.

Their third single, "Conversion Part.2 BLOOMED", released this July, showcased further musical maturity through the title track "DON’T MOVE", with its high level of polish becoming a talking point at tour venues.

We asked them about their thoughts now, ahead of their year-end live show.

KARAM: It's the time to wrap up the year, so it's a very meaningful performance for us. We want to express our gratitude to the fans who have been with us until now.

I hope that this will be a time to convey this message and end the year on a warm note. REON: It's the end of the year and Christmas season, so the atmosphere itself is exciting!

I think this performance will be a stage filled with such excitement. I hope that we can all have fun and end the year on a happy note.

Q. You have completed your Asia tour that began in August, performed at "WATERBOMB BALI 2025," and released a new song. What does 2025 mean for "ASC2NT"?

JAY: This year I had many opportunities to go abroad, and it was a year in which I was able to have a variety of experiences. I was also able to meet the overseas EPPYs that I had wanted to meet.

I was happy, and I think it was a year in which we took on new challenges and were able to show a different side of ourselves. KYLE: It was a year in which we took on many new challenges. It was my first time writing lyrics and composing music.

I also took on the challenge of performing on stage with WATERBOMB for the first time. None of it was easy, but it was still a lot of fun, rewarding, and a valuable experience.

I was reminded once again of how much you can learn from taking on a challenge and how exciting it can be. Q. Your third single, "Conversion," was released in July.

You performed your new song "Part.2 BLOOMED" on stage, but what was the reaction of the fans?

KARAM: This single is a new concept that ASC2NT is trying for the first time.

It was Sept and Music, and the fans responded more enthusiastically than I expected, which really touched me. Seeing them all getting excited together on stage made me think, "Ah, we're

HYOWON: For me, it was the debut song for my first promotion as ASC2NT, so I felt a mixture of pressure and expectations.

However, EPPY members were very positive about it and gave me so much love and support, which allowed me to continue my activities happily.

Q.Looking back at the release event held in Japan in October, was there any particularly memorable episode from your interactions with fans?

JAY: I felt that my relationship with my fans has deepened. Although we can't meet often,

We spend a lot of time together during our stay, so we feel a stronger desire to communicate and express our feelings to each other. Thanks to that, we have become closer and closer than before.

Q. Please tell us about your childhood Christmas memories. What did you spend time with your family and friends? Were there any annual traditions, such as eating cake?

REON: When I was in America, I decorated my house for Christmas and had friends come over and we had a party together! HYOWON:

When I was little, my mother would say, "Santa will give you presents, so you have to go to bed early." So I would ask Santa, "Do you want a toy?"

I went to sleep saying, "I want it." And when I woke up in the morning, the toy I asked for was there... I looked up at the sky and said, "Thank you, Santa." That was the cutest thing.

Q. Finally, please say a few words to the EPPYs who are waiting for this live performance. REON: EPPYs, let's have a happy and warm Christmas together.

Right! Merry Christmas! KYLE: It's been a challenging year for me, so this time I really! From the bottom of my heart! I'll show you a more grown-up, new side of myself. Please look forward to it.
