The 40th Golden Disc Awards will be held at the Taipei Dome on January 10, 2026, and nominees for each category will be announced.

The Golden Disc Awards, celebrating its 40th anniversary, has announced the nominees for each category. HLL JoongAng, the organizer and operator of the Golden Disc Awards, announced the nominees on its official website at 1 p.m. on the 25th.
Through their social media channels, they announced the nominees for major categories at the 40th Golden Disc Awards, including the Main Prize for Digital Music and Albums and the Newcomer Award.
Candidates were selected based on quantitative evaluation of music and albums released between early November 2024 and the end of October 2025.
If an artist has released multiple tracks or albums, the most representative track or album with the highest sales in each category will be selected as the nominee.
There are 20 candidates for each of the Digital Music and Album Main Prize categories. The Digital Music Main Prize category includes ROSE (BLACKPINK), LE
