HYERI (Girl's Day) donates HK$200,000 to Hong Kong fire victims... ”I hope it helps even a little”

Actress Hyeri, formerly of the group Girl's Day, has stepped forward to support victims of the major fire in Hong Kong.

Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Im Che-chong) announced on the 28th that Hyeri had donated HK$200,000 to commemorate the victims of the Hong Kong high-rise apartment fire accident and to aid in recovery efforts and support for bereaved families.

A representative from Hyeri's agency stated, "Hyeri deeply mourns the firefighters and citizens who lost their lives in the Hong Kong fire," adding, "She participated in the donation hoping it might offer some small comfort to the bereaved families experiencing profound grief following this sudden tragedy."

Hope Bridge's Secretary-General, Mr Shin Hoon, expressed, "We extend our deepest gratitude to Hyeri for his heartfelt concern regarding the major fire incident in Hong Kong," adding, "The donated relief funds will be used with care for disaster recovery efforts, including support for the bereaved families."
