The group CORTIS's debut album ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’ surpassed 200 million cumulative streams on the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify on the 27th. This milestone was achieved approximately three months after the album's release, marking the fastest time for a K-POP rookie debuting this year to surpass 200 million cumulative streams.
Having reached 100 million cumulative streams in October this year, the album added over 100 million more streams in just about one month. While music streaming numbers typically decline after an album promotion period ends, CORTIS bucked this trend.
Despite concluding official promotions for their debut album in September, it continues to stream over 2 million times daily, maintaining playback trends comparable to its promotional period. This underscores the solid formation of a core fanbase that actively enjoys CORTIS’ music.
The debut album CORTIS contains six tracks in total, including "What You Want (feat. Teezo Touchdown)", available exclusively as a digital release. Led by ‘GO!’ (70.89 million streams) and ‘FaSHioN’ (60.02 million streams), ‘What You Want’ (28.87 million streams) and ‘JoyRide’ (22.34 million streams) subsequently surpassed 20 million streams each, demonstrating that all tracks are equally beloved.
Released on 8th September, ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’ surpassed cumulative sales of 1.06 million copies within approximately three months of its release, based on the Circle Chart standard.
